Weapons seized during missions. Equipment from operations that are never discussed publicly. A special forces museum that is normally closed to the public. But students from the Secondary School of Personal and Property Protection got to see it.
Members of the 601st Special Forces Group welcomed them on an educational visit and introduced them to how special forces operate – at their own pace, under a different regime, and with a distinct type of deployment compared to other branches of the armed forces. The programme also included a tour of a non-public museum documenting the development of special forces throughout history, along with authentic artefacts brought back directly from missions.
The Get to Know NATO project is organised with the support of the PPF Foundation.
