The purpose of this text is to briefly inform about cookies that may be stored on users’ devices in connection with their use.

What are cookies?

Cookies are short text files that a website you visit sends to your browser. They allow recording information about your visit. When the user later returns to the same site, the browser sends the stored cookie back and the server receives all the information that it previously stored with you.

That way, cookies facilitate the use of the site. Thanks to cookies, the relevant server knows, for example, which language settings you have chosen, what to pre-fill in your login information, whether you are logged in through an email account or social network, and which items were in your shopping cart. Cookies are currently also used for targeted advertising and marketing.

What kind of cookies are there?

Basic (technical) cookies – these cookies ensure the correct functioning of a website and during the visit to the website ensure it’s displayed correctly; without them the website would not work properly or its functionality would be limited;

functional cookies – these cookies allow the website to remember your choices or the current state of the pages (e.g. language choice and other preferences), thereby improving the functionality of the pages. These cookies may also remember changes in the font size, type of font, and other changes and adaptations of the website made by the user. The information collected through these cookies does not track your activities when you visit other websites. For a repeated visit to the website to be recognized as such, and for viewing the website as set by the user, such cookies cannot be deleted after the end of the session (closing the browser), remaining stored on the device.

operational cookies – the information collected by these cookies serves primarily to better understand how the website is used to the end of optimizing it. With the help of these cookies, it’s possible to find out which parts of the website the user clicked on, what content was viewed, as well as the number of visits;

advertising cookies – these cookies collect information about your search habits, targeting advertising messages relevant to your interests and personality accordingly.

These cookies are used to better target advertising at users. They are also used to limit the number of advertising messages per one user and make advertising campaigns more effective. These cookies are usually placed on websites by third parties with the consent of the website operator. Cookies remember that the user has visited the site and then share this information with other entities. Very often, these cookies are then linked to the functionality of the site provided by another entity (eg. Google);

third party cookies – if a website has content from other websites (eg. Facebook, YouTube, etc.), or uses third-party marketing analysis or targeting tools (e.g. Google tools), third-party cookies may be stored. These third parties are responsible for storing such cookies, and the website has no control over them.

Websites uses all of the above types of cookies. Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and other third-party content may be found on our websites, so cookies may be placed by these third parties. The cookies that are stored directly by the website are anonymous and cannot be used to identify a specific person. The website operator has no control over the storage of cookies by third parties and is not responsible for them in any way. For more information on the storage of cookies and their use, please contact these third parties (Facebook, Instagram, Google) directly.
