This year’s first study excursion for secondary school students took place at the Army of the Czech Republic base in Chrudim. The project, which traditionally brings students to selected bases of the Army of the Czech Republic, this time gave the participants an insight into the functioning of the 43rd Airborne Regiment for the first time. In Chrudim, in addition to the introductory briefing on the regiment’s tasks, the students also had the opportunity to view military equipment and closely observe the training of paratroopers, which was currently taking place, including, for example, jumps and prying doors. Students were also able to visit training sites and try out some paratrooper skills themselves. The event takes place as part of the cycle Our Security Cannot Be Taken for Granted and with the support of the PPF Foundation.
