Jagello 2000 – NATO IC co-organized a public debate on military mobility within the North Atlantic Alliance as a part of the expert accompanying side-events of the NATO Days in Ostrava. As a part of the project Joint Sky has NATO IC prepared traditional annual informal debate with NATO Days in Ostrava participants. This year attended the discussion representatives of the 2019 Special Partner Nation Romania (pilots of Mig-21 and ground forces representatives – video), US Air Force, Finish Air Force aerobatic team – the Midnight Hawks, the former Czech Ambassador to NATO Jiří Šedivý and pilots Ivo Kardoš (Jas-39 Gripen) and Martin Šonka (Extra 300), who have performed a unique acrobatic show during the weekend.…

On the occassion of NATO Days in Ostrava visited US troops commanders the local childrens’ home “Domeček”. The NATO Days organizers have been cooperating with the childrens’ home for a long time and US Air Force crews have managed to create a strong and warm personal ties.

Shortly before this year’s NATO Days’ kick- off organised NATO IC debates for highschool students with foreign participating crews. Flight crews from the United States and Poland visited nine schools under the auspices of the project Joint Sky. The program consisted not only from debates, but from sport activities too.…

The NATO Information Center in cooperation with the Moravian-Silesian Region has prepared an unique opportunity for high-school students to explore strategic US aircraft and enjoy debates with pilots directly at Leos Janacek Airport in Ostrava. The event is a part of the series “Meet NATO”.

In addition to the B-52 Stratofortress, students could also see the C-5 Super Galaxy transport aircraft.

Jagello 2000 is the main organizer of the biggest security show in Europe – NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days.

The event’s aim is to present the wide spectrum of the resources and the capabilities of the Czech Republic and its allies in the field of security provision to the general public. NATO Information Centra prepares the third this year’s edition of study excursion for students, who have this time an extraordinary opportunity to visit the U.S. Air Force’s KC-135 tanker and to debate with its crew.

This edition is prepared with a cooperation with the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aircraft is attending the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days and 150 students from seven high schools can inspect it from inside and ask the pilots about the plane, NATO and cooperation within the Alliance.…
