The first Czech–US Defense and Security Forum, organised by Hudson Institute and Jagello 2000 in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic and Czechoslovak Group, brought together American and Czech officials, defence experts, and industry leaders in Washington, D.C. to discuss cooperation in defence and security. The forum took place on 14 October 2025.
Key topics included reindustrialisation through Czech investments, reform of defence procurement, supply chain resilience, and the integration of innovative technologies. Participants also explored opportunities for Czech industry to collaborate with American partners and how the Czech Republic can strengthen transatlantic defence cooperation.
The event highlighted the importance of bilateral defence and security relations and underscored the Czech Republic’s role as a trusted partner and innovator on the international stage.
