German participants in NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, operating NH-90 and Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft, organised a collection among themselves following the floods in the Moravian-Silesian Region in September 2024 and the cancellation of that year’s NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. The proceeds were donated to the Slunovrat Care Home affected by the floods. During their participation in NATO Days in Ostrava and the Czech Air Force Days in 2025, they personally visited the Slunovrat Care Home and met with its management and residents. The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Prague also contributed to last year’s collection.
