We brought together two strong Ostrava brands – NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days and FC Baník Ostrava to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Ostrava Operation together with the Czech Army.
The fanzone featured static displays of military equipment, similar to the first NATO Days at Černá louka. After 25 years of the event, air demonstrations are a big part of the show – and that’s why just before the derby started, fans had the opportunity to see two Gripens fly over the Vítkovice stadium.
This cooperation was not only a reminder of the Ostrava Operation, but also an invitation to the 25th NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, 20-21 September 2025 at Ostrava Airport.
