In late March, the Barksdale Defenders of Liberty Air Show was held at the home base of the B-52 Stratofortress. The aircraft first landed in the CEE region 15 years ago – thanks to its participation in NATO Days in Ostrava.
We were honored to personally present commemorative plaques to Colonel Martinez, Commander of the 307th Bomb Wing, Thomas Chandler, Mayor of Bossier City, and those who made the B-52’s arrival at NATO Days in Ostrava & Air Force Days in September 2010 a reality.
