In November, students of the Hustopeče Polytechnic High School took part in a debate connected with an excursion to the 71st Mechanised Battalion and the 7th Mechanised Brigade. First of all, during the debate the students learned a lot of interesting facts about the unit, but also something about the importance of membership in the NATO or the European Union. In the museum they learned about the history of soldiers in Hranice. And there was also a practical part, where they tried the laser shooting range and saw the equipment up close – even from the inside.
