Joint Sky debates at high-schools

The NATO Information Centre again organizes discussions with representatives of foreign air forces at Czech high-schools in the Framework of the Joint Sky cycle.

The debates purpose is to support the education of security issues. This time, debates take place at three high-schools in Prague and one in Tábor.


NATO towards Warsaw and beyond: round-table

The NATO Information Centre prepares a debate with advisors of the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee.

The main topic of the round-table are preparations of the NATO Summit in Warsaw, main speakers are Col. Jasper De Quincey-Adams from the United Kingdom and Cpt. Adam Krysiewiczfrom Poland.


Expert programme for young Jordanian diplomats

Jagello 2000 prepares a short expert programme focusing on Czech Republic's membership in NATO and public diplomacy for Jordanian students of diplomacy.

Group of the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy students visits Prague in a framework of Learning the Experience of NATO Member State project, realized by the NATO Contact Point Embassy - currently Czech Embassy in Amman. Jordanian students had an opportunity to discuss with Jiří Schneider, Executive Director of the Aspen Institute of Prague, Ivan Gabal, Member of the Parliament, or Jakub Landovský, Deputy Minister of Defence.



Seminar on new silk road

Jagello 2000 - NATO IC is a partner of the expert seminar „Perspectives on China’s New Silk Road: „One Belt, One Road“ Initiative“.

The event focuses on relations of China and European countries. It takes place on the premises of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic with participation of Czech and foreign experts.


Our security cannot be taken for granted 2016

Jagello 2000 is preserving a unique framework of interaction and factual discussion between political representatives and expert public in the third national conference "Our security cannot be taken for granted".

It takes place on 27 May 2016 in the premises of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The role of the keynote speaker is taken up by an exclusive foreign guest, Alexander Vershbow, NATO Deputy Secretary General. Natoaktual.cz is a media partner of the event.

Meetinf with Defence Minister

Prague; May 6, 2016
Institute for politics and society holds a breakfast meeting for prominent representatives of the Czech security community and top managers of important companies active in the Czech Republic.

The topic at the breakfast will be migration and the correlated security efforts between the Czech Republic and the European Union. Additionally, addressing what security measures the Czech Republic and the EU have undergone, and lastly, analyzing the role of the Czech Republic, EU and NATO in these affairs.

These and other questions will be answered by the Minister of Defense Martin Stropnický and director of Jagello 2000 Zbyněk Pavlačík.
