Czech Industry as Means of National Defence

Jagello 2000 co-organizes the national conference aimed at presenting intentions of the Czech Defence Ministry in the area of expansion of industrial cooperation for securing the national defence.

Other co-organizers of the conference for expert public and Czech defence and security industry representatives are Armaments and Acquisition Division of the Ministry of Defence and Czech Association of Defence Industry.

The conference is organized in the framework of expert associate programme of the NATO Days in Ostrava.

 

Debates in the Joint Sky framework

The NATO Information Centre prepares on the occasion of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days another debates with foreign pilots and soldiers both for students and general public.

Spanish pilots presented their work and foreign missions to students of Hladnov High School, US soldiers and Jordanian Army representatives visited 1st International School of Ostrava, Ostrcilova Elementary Schoul and Commercial Academy in Ostrava-Poruba.

General public then had an oportunity to visit Chats with pilots in KNIHCENTRUM Bookstore, where representatives of the US, British, Italián or Jordanian armies were presented.

These discussions were held in the framework of the Joint Sky project.

 

Meet NATO 2016

The NATO Information Centre prepares another excursion for students of the schools from Ostrava region.

They have a unique opportunity to visit B-1 and B-52 strategic bombers of the U.S. Air Force taking part in the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days and talk to their crew about their foreign operations.

The Meet NATO project aims at presenting the North Atlantic Alliance and activities of its members. This time a hundred of students from Mosnov, Albrechticky and Petrvaldik participated. The event was part of associate programme of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days.

 

Czech Model of the U.S. Congress

The NATO Information Centre is a partner of traditional educational project on democracy.

The Czech Model of the U.S. Congress takes place for the sixth time. The NATO IC helps with preparations of seminars and supplies information materials, it also secures a lecture about U.S-Iranian relations by Josef Kraus of the Masaryk University Brno.

The round-table Future of Strategic Bombers: B52 vs. New Options for Czech security community will be attended by representatives of the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

 

Joint Sky debates at high-schools

Prague; Jun 27-29, 2016
The NATO Information Centre again organizes discussions with representatives of foreign air forces at Czech high-schools in the Framework of the Joint Sky cycle.

The debates purpose is to support the education of security issues. This time, debates take place at three high-schools in Prague and one in Tábor.
