NATO Spring Academy

Jagello 2000 cooperates at the educational project NATO Spring Academy.

NATO Spring Academy is organized by the Euro-Atlantic Integration Centre in Dnipropetrovs’k and NATO Information and Documentation Centre in Ukraine. The purpose of the project is to provide objective information about NATO's and Ukraine's role in the international security issues. More information about project can be found here.

 

NATO's Strategic Concept Workshop II.

We cooperate at the second workshop of the project "Interests and Priorities of the Czech Republic: NATO's New Strategic Concept".

Jagello 2000 participates at this project together with other six Czech NGOs. The second and the last workshop is focused on NATO's tools and capabilities and their definition in the new NATO's Strategic Concept. The outcome of the workshop will be presented in Summer. Seminar for Serbian Journalists

We support seminar for Media Representatives from South Serbia.

The event is organized by the NGO Initiative for Integrations. The speakers at the workshop will include officials from the Ministry of Defence (RS) and Ministry of Internal Affairs (RS). At the workshop, Chairman of Jagello 2000, Mr. Zbynek Pavlacik will present his speech "NATO's current position in facing new security challenges".

 

Visegrad Security Cooperation Initiative

Jagello 2000 is a partner of the "Visegrad Security Cooperation Initiative".

Jagello 2000 – IC NATO is a co-organizer of the international research project Visegrad Security Cooperation Initiative, whose purpose is to identify a common security and defence interests of the "Visegrad Four" countries and to analyze possible ways to their realization.

 

V4 Conference in Budapest

Budapest; Apr 8-9, 2010
Chairman of Jagello 2000 participates in the conference "Past lessons, current issues and future prospects of Visegrad co-operation within NATO and ESDP".

This conference is held in the framework of the project "Creating a sphere of security in wider Central Europe: sharing the V4 know-how in cooperation on security with the neighbouring regions" and is organized by the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs. The Chairman of the Jagello 2000 Association is the speaker of the panel "The sustaining tasks of Atlantic associations in the Visegrad countries: raising public awareness and generating intellectual discourse on the continued importance of Transatlantic relations and solidarity ".

During the conference, the Presidents of the atlantic associations in the countries of "Visegrad Four" sign the declaration demanding the reconfirmation of the NATO’s commitment as enshrined in Article 5 and the keeping of the "Open Door" policy for the countries of Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
