European Airshow Council Awarded NATO Days

NATO Days in Ostrava and Czech Air Force Days were awarded the European Airshow Council Award in the category of public relations and marketing.

The prize for marketing and public relation is given for originality, overall design and process of presentation of the particular air show. "Despite not being as followed as Oscar Award by general public, we were extremely pleased and we take it as great appreciation of our team, which devotes a lot of time and energy to the organisation of NATO Days every year, Zbynek Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 200, said.

It is also worth noting, that organizers from Jagello had joined EAC in 2009 and won just two years after entering this prestigious club. Apart from European nations the EAC session was attended by delegations from USA, South Africa, Russia, Middle East and Pakistan.

Presentation for the Staff College officers

IC NATO representative is one of the panelists who present topics about the Czech security policy, its army and relation to NATO to the offirecrs from the United Kingdom Staff College.

The aim of the two-hour seminar, that takes place at the end of the British officers' trip to the Czech Republic at the UK's Embassy in Prague, is to give the participants an opportunity to confront their findings and opinions from the trip with the members of the Czech security community.


Lecture for the Model NATO

IC NATO representative is having a lecture for the participants of the fourth workshop in the framework of the project Model NATO.

The lecture is aimed at the results of the NATO Lisbon Summit. The Model NATO is a project for high-school students. Its organizer is the Association for International Affairs. The website of the project can be found here.


Round-table with the Ambassador

IC NATO organizes informal round-table with the Czech Ambassador to NATO Martin Povejšil.

The event was attended by a dozen of Czech security experts and Ambssador Povejšil informed them about the development after the NATO Lisbon Summit and about future expectations.


Conference about Euroatlantic forum Prague-Belgrad

Jagello 2000 in cooperation with Czech Embassy in Belgrade prepares its annual conference named "Czech Republic and Serbia: Euro-Atlantic Forum Prague-Belgrade".

The aim of the conference is to evaluate the project activities in Serbia and analysis of future possible cooperations. The speakers at the seminar are State Secretary of the Serbian Defence Ministry Tanja Miščević, Assistant 1st Deputy Minister of Defence of the CR Ivan Dvořák and chairman of the Jagello 2000 Association. The event is attended also by the State Secretary of the Serbian Ministry of Defence Zoran Jeftić.


Seminar about EAICD results

Jagello 2000 presents at the Czech Embassy in Kyiv the results of the three-years project of the Euro-Atlantic Integration Centre in Dnipropetrovsk (EAICD).

The project of the EAICD was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. The speakers at the seminar are chargé d'affaird Vítězslav Pivoňka, EAICD director Tetyana Brezhnyeva and Jagello 2000 chairman Zbyněk Pavlačík.
