NATO presentation for high-school students

NATO Information Centre in Prague prepared a presentation about the activites of North Atlantic Alliance, its foreign missions and the Czech Republic's involvement for the students of J.G. Mendel Grammar School in Brno.

Students will have also opportunity to visit the Information Centre and its library and to get brochures and DVDs about the Alliance's issues.

 

Trip for Aliante 2012 Winners

Jagello 2000 organizes an excursion to the Czech Republic for the Aliante competition winners, high-school students from Georgia.

They visited NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, Czech Air Force base in Čáslav, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or the NATO Information Centre in Prague, where they participated at the debate "the North Atlantic Alliance and the Czech Republic".

Jagello 2000 is the main organizer of the biggest air, army & security show in Central Europe.

This event serves as a wide presentation of security forces, services or equipment, so the visitors can see not only the aircraft and military vehicles, but also fire fighters, police, customs units, prison guards, rescue service and much more. Helicopter Capabilities Conference

NATO Information Centre and the Ministry of Defence organize the international expert conference about cooperation in the area of helicopter capabilities.

The conference "Multinational Cooperation in Developing Helicopter Operational Capabilities: Overcoming Austere Financial Conditions and Securing Future Benefits" is held as an expert associate programme of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. The Czech delegation is headed by the new Ambassador to NATO Jiří Šedivý and delegations from ten other countries also participate, among them the USA, Norway or Hungary.

NATO Information Centre co-organizes informal debates of armed forces representatives, partitipants of NATO Days in Ostrava, with general public.

Anyone can join it for free in Librex Bookstore in Ostrava. The beginning is at 14:00 and the crews will change approx. after 30-45 minutes. The debates are organized in the framework of the Joint Sky project of NATO Information Centre in Prague. You can see the poster here.

 

Debate with the UN Model Participants

NATO Information Centre prepared the debate of students - participants of the UN Model - with U.S. Air Force officials.

The event is organized in the framework of NATO IC's project Joint Sky, when Czech and foreign aircrews meet the public and students. This debate will be about foreign operations of the U.S. and NATO, and NATO Information Centre representative will also participate.
