Lecture for German academicians

IC NATO prepares the second lecture about the importance and role of the Czech Republic in NATO for a group of German academicians and army officers.

The lecture named "From the Warsaw Pact to NATO - united defence bond and security interests of the Czech Republic" is held by Gen. (Ret.) Jiří Šedivý, former Chief of Staff of the Czech Army.


Czech Republic in NATO: second annual audit

Jagello 2000 - NATO Information Centre organizes the second meeting of the Czech security and foreing policy experts in order to evaluate the Czech membership in NATO.

The meeting "Czech Republic in NATO: annual audit" strive to found a new tradition of annual informal discussion aimed at examination of fulfillment of Czech expectations regarding the membership in the North Atlantic Alliance.


Aliante presentation in Istanbul

Jagello 2000 representatives presented the Aliante Competition to high school teachers from Istanbul.

The presentation was aimed at increasing the number of Turkish students participating in the next year of the competition. It was held at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Istanbul together with the annual meeting of national coordinators of the project.


Visegrad Youth Forum 2014

Jagello 2000 is a partner of the Visegrad Youth Forum 2014 project.

 The aim of this event is to create a platform for mutual networking, innovative education and increase in the interest level of  young adults regarding current events and the future of the Visegrad Group. The main goal of the conference is the active expert discussion about current issues facing the Visegrad Group, as well as critical alliances for the region. The conference is attended by political experts, state representatives, as well as representatives of the academic, 3rd sector sector and private spheres, who answer the students’ questions during panel discussion while also participating in workshops and simulations.

Lecture for the Model NATO 2014

NATO Information Centre is a traditional partner of the educational project Model NATO.

Representative of IC NATO is to hold a lecture for participating students about the outcomes of the NATO Summit in Wales.
