Joint Sky: debate with US pilots

The NATO Information Centre again organizes discussions with representatives of foreign air forces at Czech high-schools in the Framework of the Joint Sky cycle.

The US Air Force pilots visited the PORG High School in Prague, where they debated about a wide spectrum of topics, including aircraft equipment or US bases around the world.
The purpose of the the Joint Sky series is to support the education in security-related issues in schools around the Czech Republic.

 

Meet NATO 2018

NATO Information Centre organizes another presentation for the students focused on the Czech army and its activities in NATO.

This edition of the series takes place at the base of the 13th Artillery Regiment in Jince with students of Special Primary School Rožmitál pod Třemšínem participating. This was one of the first excursions at this base and soldiers presented their equipment and talked about their deployments in foreign operations.

 

 

Joint Sky: debate with Czech pilots

The NATO Information Centre again organizes discussions with representatives of foreign air forces at Czech high-schools in the Framework of the Joint Sky cycle.

The main topics of a debate at Dobříš High School included pilots' equipment, training, foreign operations deployment, but also physics of the flying in JAS-39 Gripen fighter jet.

 

 

Introduction to NATO and current security issues

NATO IC organizes a lecture for students of Hovorčovická Business Academy, Prague, about itself, the North Atlantic Alliance and current security issues.

Gen (Ret.) Jiří Šedivý, who was the main speaker, will also describe deployment of Czech Army's units to foreign missions or aspects of Czech membership in NATO.

 

USA and European Security

Jagello 2000 in cooperation with the CEVRO Institute prepares a public debate with former commander of the United States Army Europe Gen. (Ret.) Benjamin „Ben“ Hodges.

Gen. Karel Řehka, Deputy Commander of NATO Multinational Division North-East, is the second speaker in the discussion. More information can be found here.

 

Meet NATO 2018

NATO Information Centre organizes another presentation for the students focused on the Czech army and its activities in NATO.

The Meet NATO project aims at presenting the North Atlantic Alliance and activities of its members.  This part is held in Strakonice, at the base of 25th Anti-Aircraft Rocket Regiment. Soldiers will present the base, will debate with participating students and intrduce them to the preparation for deployment in NATO missions. It is prepared for the participants of the Model NATO debate project, which is organized by the Association for International Affairs, and for sudents of the Strakonice Industrial School and Prague'sArabská High School.
